Careers

Patterson Physical Therapy is a values based, community centered, PT owned practice. Our clinic is operated on the belief that every patient deserves one to one care. We are looking for new therapists that are excited about our mission. We have an incredible team of experienced therapists, who are excited to collaborate. We can provide mentorship for new therapists, as well as opportunities to gain specialty care techniques with professional development. Our current practice has a focus on out-patient orthopedic, neurological, aquatic, and pediatric care. We accept most insurances and pride ourselves on being accessible to our community.

Beth Patterson

“My favorite aspect of working here is the fact that we get a full hour one on one with the patients to really ensure they are getting the care that they need. It makes a big difference in the way we connect to our patients, and their compliance to our treatment protocol. Better connection, better healing.”

Brian Sakal
PTA

“The therapy crew here is great. Being in a gym together, you have the benefits of multiple eyes on your patients, allowing for the free exchange of ideas between therapists.”

Brian Sakal
PTA

“One of the biggest hardships in PT is notes, so it’s also a big benefit that a full day here may net you 8-10 notes compared to 16 in some of the other clinics I’ve been a part of.”

Brian Sakal
PTA

“I really love the time I get to spend with my patients, it gives me the opportunity to listen and make appropriate changes to accelerate their recovery process.”

Mike Patterson
PT

I enjoy interacting with patients, learning their stories, and watching their determination and drive to get better.

Deb Stevens

“Only seeing one patient an hour allows us to provide patients with the quality care they deserve, make adjustments to exercises on the fly, and adjust their treatment as needed very quickly and easily.”

Stephen Wagner
PTA

“We all help each other out, teaching each other techniques and technologies.”

Stephen Wagner
PTA

As a staff member of Patterson PT for 11 years, I’ve been lucky to witness the amazing work our therapists do each day. Whether it be helping a patient recover from surgery or daily pain, to a child laughing as they are “playing” in our clinic. It’s a great atmosphere!

Jenn Wiener

I trust our therapists so much my own mom was treated here!

We are looking to add energetic, knowledgeable, patient centered physical therapists to our team to be able to better serve our community. We would love to discuss what you’re looking for in your PT career, and how we might help you achieve those goals.

Why Patterson PT?

One to One Patient Care

You will not be asked to treat more than one client at a time. This is a rare opportunity in the field of insurance-based Physical Therapy. We are dedicated to respecting the time and expertise of all of our therapists and the dignity of our patients. You deserve time to offer undivided care to your patient, and a reasonable load of documentation.

Positive Work Environment

Our staff treats each other with respect and kindness. We are a fun, playful, creative, good-natured, and growth-oriented group of practitioners. Our employee retention is incredible, with more than half our team being here for 5+ years.

Benefits & Compensation

We offer a competitive salary for a small practice. If you are someone who would prefer being self-employed than working for a corporation, we are an incredibly happy medium. You get the commitment to one patient per hour, a small, professionally equipped clinic, AND the promise of health benefits, PTO, 401K matching etc.

Facility

Our clinic is beautiful. Located in the heart of Severna Park, MD. We have large windows that overlook Cypress Creek Park, high-quality equipment, and private treatment rooms. We are a short walk to the local community center, where we utilize the pool for aquatic therapy. We are also just a short walk from the B&A bike trail, the library, a farmers market, coffee shops, and more.
