Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our outpatient private practice clinic. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in physical therapy, the ability to develop customized treatment plans, and a passion for helping patients achieve optimal recovery and wellness. You will work closely with our highly skilled Physical Therapist Assistants, exercise physiologist and the patients’ medical team to provide high-quality care to individuals of all ages dealing with a wide range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. Outpatient orthopedics with manual therapy skilled preferred. Neuro/vestibular and pediatric experience or interests a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients’ physical conditions, medical histories, and treatment needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
  • Provide hands-on physical therapy, including therapeutic exercises, therapeutic activities, neuromuscular re education and manual therapy.
  • Educate patients and their families on exercises, pain management techniques, and strategies to improve physical health and prevent injury.
  • Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and specialists, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participate in practice growth activities, including patient education, community outreach and student education.
  • Stay updated with the latest physical therapy practices, techniques, and continuing education.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to connect with patients.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Previous outpatient experience is preferred but not required.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
